I Was Born, Yes is a neo-noir psychological thriller about the consequences of obsession. One night, on his way home from work, an ordinary salesman walks past a parked limousine and witnesses a famous actress in a carnal act with her chauffeur. By recording a video of the encounter with his phone the salesman sets a series of events into motion that will threaten everything he holds dear.

Brendan Beseth's screenplay credits include Luckytown, starring Kristen Dunst, James Caan and Luis Guzman. He also wrote Lasrever's latest short film, Lost Weekend, as well as the critically acclaimed play, A Vegas Kind of Love, which was part of the 2017 Hollywood Fringe. He is a member of the Actor's Studio as a playwright and recently graduated from the University of Arkansas with an M.F.A. in playwriting.
